**Graduate Project Engineer Required.**

Our client is a well-established, independent company with over 20 years in the industry. They set up to deliver strategic objectives which, at the time, were mainly focused on tackling climate change through carbon reduction. This is a new permanent rolewithin the company, created in response to growth in the project pipeline and is intended to provide the opportunity for career progression within the business through training and development to Project Engineer and ultimately Senior Project Engineer. Therole is based at their HQ in Woking with occasional work at their second site in Milton Keynes.

The successful Graduate Project Engineer will be a dynamic, ambitious individual who is looking to kickstart their career and progress within the business. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills along with being able to organise andmanage time effectively. Being confident and willing to engage with stakeholders and upkeeping company standards of professionalism are key to this role.

**Graduate Project Engineer - Position Overview**
- Carrying our research in support of concept and feasibility studies for projects designed to deliver the long-term environmental objectives
- Collating information to contribute to the strategic planning for expansion.
- Carrying out site surveys, taking measurements and assembling data (including meter information and SCADA records) before, during and after works
- Inspecting works on site as instructed by Senior Projects Engineers and maintaining records of site inspections
- Assembling project progress reports against expected programme and costs
- Assisting other members of the project team as directed by the Senior Projects Engineers
- Promoting compliance with industry best practice standards

**Graduate Project Engineer - Position Requirements**
- Relevant mechanical/electrical engineering qualifications to degree level
- A general understanding of the principles of the hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and data systems used in district energy generation and distribution networks
- An understanding of the principles of mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, and valves
- An awareness of SCADA and controls technology
- A good understanding of how carbon emissions from energy are quantified in the built environment and the steps that can be taken to reduce emissions
- A good understanding of existing and emerging technologies relating to low and zero carbon heat and power generation
- Ability to operate CAD systems
- Good analytical skills with proven competence in use of excel or other data manipulation software
- Good observational skills with the ability to identify trends and anomalies in data

**Graduate Project Engineer - Position Remuneration**
- Salary - £25K - £30K
- Hours - Monday - Friday 9 - 5
