We have a great opportunity for someone to join our fast growing, friendly, local company as a Project Administrator, taking on tasks related to client services, project management, tender management and general office admin. **This is an office-based role in Bedford, working from the office Monday - Friday.**
**About us**
We are a bespoke consultancy located in Bedford, providing professional fire safety services, health and safety, and project management support to clients.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Organise and maintain project documents and records.
- Complete scheduling activities for upcoming audits
- Provide administrative support to the project team.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and other events.
- Create and manage tenders to contractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project success
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- MS Word and Excel knowledge and experience is **essential**.
- Administration experience is desired
- Experience working on tenders and projects is desired
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Be able to effectively anticipate and prioritise your workload
- Be able to work under your own initiative and able to make decision
- You will need to be an all-rounder, flexible, and able to adapt to evolving tasks.
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Able to work in a high pressure environment
- You will need to be fluent in English writing and grammar
- You should be based within travelling distance of Bedford for commuting to the office
