At Hoseflex we provide a one stop hydraulic, industrial and pneumatic service. We also manage and administer the largest subcontractor network of hydraulic vans in the UK.

We currently have the above vacancy and are searching for the right person with the talent and motivation to progress within the group. This excellent opportunity is based at our busy Trade Counter/Warehouse in the Moreton Hall Area of Bury St Edmunds.

**The Role - Warehouse/Trade Counter Team Member**:

- Ensure the trade counter customers are served quickly and efficiently
- Ensure telephones are answered promptly, and orders taken accurately and priced correctly.
- Learn all aspects of the Trade Counter & Sales Office function
- Develop excellent product knowledge.
- Take ownership of outgoing orders
- Develop excellent working relationships with our customers and field-based engineers.
- Warehouse duties, including stock taking, goods in and loading/unloading vehicles and hose manufacturing.
- Support the trade counter manager in developing sales.
- Learn sales techniques.

**Duties - Warehouse/Trade Counter Team Member**:

- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Move and stack materials
- Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
- Rotate floor stock
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
- Use common warehouse management software
- Receive/process shipments
- Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear

**Person Specification**:

- Be highly motivated and keen to succeed/progress within the business.
- Have an excellent attendance record in previous roles.
- Be educated to a good standard at GCSE level, although common sense and an excellent work ethic are more important
- Have the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Be well-organised, methodical and calm under pressure.
- Aspire to succeed and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
- Knowledge of Hose and Fitting products is not essential, but would be an advantage, as would experience of a similar working environment.
- Driving licence would be beneficial
