Edinburgh Medical School is seeking to appoint a Year Coordinator who will have overall administrative responsibility for Year 3 of the MBChB programme, and will coordinate arrangements for the third year of the MBChB curriculum. The post holder will work as part of busy team to provide efficient and effective high quality administrative support to both students and staff.

- Experience in a customer-centred environment with the ability to support students in a sensitive and diplomatic manner.
- Ability to exercise initiative appropriately and to take decisions while working within an agreed framework.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, in writing and in person, exercising discretion and diplomacy, respect and confidentiality and ability to interact effectively and maintain good staff relationships at all levels within and outwith the University.
- Ideally, previous experience in higher education in a student facing role, with knowledge of issues and policies in a higher education context.
