An exciting opportunity has become available for a technically strong and analytical Financial Controller to join an upcoming and rapidly growing FMCG business in a time of unprecedented growth.

This role will report to the UK Finance Director based in London and will support the expansion of the business and control of the finance team.

**Key Responsibilities for the Group Financial Controller**
- Responsible for all finance and accounting processes and reporting requirements to strict deadlines
- Oversee compliance with the established finance processes and controls related to internal and external reports, monthly and year-end close and balance sheet review
- Daily, weekly and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Compliance with country tax reporting requirements
- A thorough understanding of VAT reporting requirements is required including Standard, Reverse Charge and Marginal Rate VAT schemes
- Basic understanding of transfer pricing; work with Group Tax Manager to ensure compliance with Group TP policy
- Daily, weekly and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Oversee adherence to the established policies and procedures on business operations and asset security/safeguards to ensure continued business viability and profitability
- Accounting for and reporting for multi-channel online trading platforms with high transactional volumes

**Key essentials of the Group Financial Controller**
- Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5 years PQ experience
- Strong communication both written and verbal and the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a clear vision for team development
- Computer and IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
