**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Inventory Management**:
- Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
- **
Data Analysis**:
- Analyse stock reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare inventory forecasts and reports for management.
- Review prepared reports with the Inventory team.
- **
Team Leadership**:
- Lead and mentor all associated functions within the stock environment, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Conduct workshop sessions for relevant staff on inventory processes and best practices within the Cannock warehouse environments.
- **
Supplier Coordination**:
- Coordinate with the Purchasing team the promotion of continual supplier improvements through agreed vendor performance analysis.
- **
System Management**:
- Integrate stock processes into the existing WMS currently in operation.
- Work closely with the Group Inventory team to coordinate constant improvement initiatives within the procedural systems. In particular, the development of the Group’s Inventory Control System - IMA.
- **
Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
- Implement best practices for safe stock handling and storage.
- **Qualifications**:
Relevant qualifications in stock management preferred.
Demonstrate proven experience in a senior stock control role.
Hold a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Have proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Possess strong leadership and communication abilities.
Have attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
