We're hiring a Motor Counter Fraud Team Leader to join our Fraud Department. You will report into our Counter Fraud Operations Manager.

**What you'll be doing**
- Lead and motivate team members in the achievement of agreed performance measures.
- Effectively manage workloads, setting team and individual priorities and objectives as required to achieve maximum benefit delivery. Lead the team by example with positive behaviours and appropriate use of recognition and reward to highlight excellent performance and behaviours.
- Demonstrate effective use of all available MI to understand team and department performance and use observations to drive performance and undertake actions to drive improvement in the team and the wider CF population.
- Continually review the performance of the team against agreed performance measures and seek to identify and implement improvements that will lead to increased performance and enhanced outcomes.
- Analyse assurance results and proactively managing performance and development needs through effective coaching, mentoring and timely performance management, taking HR advice as appropriate.
- Effectively communicate departmental, team and individual objectives and create an environment of continuous improvement and service excellence within the team.
- Undertake regular 121 review sessions with your team members in accordance with frequency agreed with your line manager and ensure development plans and priorities are in place to ensure continuous improvement through self learning including growth and goal setting.
- Ensure that work is appropriately allocated on the basis of individual skills, knowledge and development needs and that appropriate support is available to team members through available channels including utilisation of referrals to senior handlers.
- Ensure that your own knowledge of processes and technical changes and developments applicable to your role are continuously reviewed and seek training, coaching and development through self learning opportunities where required.
- Support and complete ad-hoc requests as allocated by your Line Manager. Recruitment / Training / Projects / Department Meetings / Achievements.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve the performance of yourself, your team and the wider CF population and effectively collaborate with teams both within and outside of CF to achieve optimum results.

**What you'll need**
- Motor insurance claims experience in a people management/team leader role. Experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Continuous improvement mindset.
