As part of our growing business, we are seeking an established Human Factors Consultant with experience of delivering Human Factors integration and associated analyses for high-hazard and safety critical national infrastructure, e.g. civil or naval nuclear, defence or rail.

**Duties to include**
- Delivery of Human Factors Integration activities to support multi-disciplinary projects, working in collaboration with other technical disciplines.
- Production of Human Factors analyses and studies, liaising with Subject Matter Experts and safety professionals.
- Deliver Human Factors projects whilst mentoring junior members of the team.
- Liaising with Regulators as necessary.
- Planning and managing work to meet technical, budget and programme requirements to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaboration with clients and partner organisations.

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant academic qualification in an appropriate field, i.e. Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology or a suitable Science or Engineering degree.
- Relevant experience in a Human Factors role.
- Experience in delivering human error and reliability assessment.

**Desirable Requirements**
- Chartered, Registered or working towards accreditation with a relevant body.
- Consultancy experience.
- SC and / or DV security clearance.

**Due to the nature of the work that the Occam Group undertake, you must be a**sole**UK national in order to apply.**

**You will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.**
