Finance Assistant

We are a friendly, sustainability-driven team that values natural capital - from forests to peatlands - and we’re looking for a detail-oriented **Finance Assistant** to support our finance operations. In this part-time role (2 days per week, flexible hours, remote options), you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, reconcile accounts, process invoices, and help keep our mission-driven projects running smoothly.
**Responsibilities**
- **Manage financial transactions**: Handle the day-to-day recording of income, expenses, and other transactions with accuracy.
- **Reconcile accounts**: Ensure bank statements and ledgers are regularly reconciled and any discrepancies are resolved.
- **Process invoices and payments**: Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments promptly, maintaining clear records.
- **Support the finance team**: Assist with monthly reports, audits, and general administrative tasks to keep the finance department running efficiently.
