Pr24 Data Tables Analyst

**What you will be doing?**
A **PR24 Data Tables Analyst**is needed on an **18-month Fixed Term Contract** to underpin the production and assurance of Thames Water’s PR24 Business Plan and other submissions to regulator Ofwat.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Strategy and External Affairs Team to support the development of the PR24 Business Plan on behalf of Thames Water.
Responsibilities will include,- Take ownership of the PR24 data tables, ensuring that all stakeholders across the business are clear on their accountabilities.
- Manage the population of the data tables in accordance with the agreed timeframes.
- Support the business in ensuring that methodologies for data provision have been documented and approved in readiness for assurance
- Enforce the change control process for the data tables population to ensure alignment with the assurance process
- Work with the Head of Internal Assurance to develop, implement and track 1st, the 2nd and 3rd line of assurance activity across the price review.
- Support the Assurance and Data Tables Manager in the procurement of key external assurance providers for technical and data requirements as defined by the assurance workstream plan.
- Provide leadership and focus to motivate data providers, reviewers and managers from across Thames Water to deliver the data table workstream plans.
- Work with the PR24 Team to ensure that progress is aligned and managed with other key PR24 requirements and milestones.
- Develop delivery plans for each phase of the price review data tables and assurance phases.
- Manage the development of Data Table commentaries at the required standard for the final business plan submission to Ofwat.

**What you will bring to the role?**:

- Degree level qualification and an ability to undertake complex analysis on multiple datasets
- Proven experience in running similar data and assurance activity within a regulatory environment.
- Understanding of data management and assurance principles within a regulated utility.
- Excellent communication skills - including verbal, written and strong Stakeholder management skills.
- Numerate with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with assurance methodologies and approaches within a regulated utility.
- Previous experience of working in a Programme, Portfolio or Project environment is required.
- Strong planning experience with a proven ability in pulling together many different workstream data outputs into one cohesive plan.
- Quality focus, must be accurate and have attention to detail.
- Very good prioritisation and organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
