**Salary**: £25,000 - £30,000, DOE
**Contract**: Full time & Permanent
**Hours**: Monday to Friday (40 hours)
**Travel Requirements**: All IQA offices and sites if required.

To support this grown we are looking to recruit a Training Co-ordinator to join our team in Hillington, Glasgow.
**About the Role
Training Co-ordinator - Key Responsibilities and duties**:

- Support the Head of SHEQ, Training & Compliance to monitor, control and audit the training & compliance requirements of the company
- Highlight training requirements and make recommendations on training required by operatives and staff
- Source & book programme courses required based on operational competence, sending out alerts for refresher and initial training
- Support and assist in developing & delivering training programmes for the company
- Identify & work with external training providers to help achieve the business training programme requirements
- Ensure training records are updated & maintained & compliant with job roles
- Manage, monitor and control the companies Training & Competency Matrixes
- Review course costs and make cost savings where possible
- Liaise with staff/managers, support training requirements identified from annual appraisals and develop required training programmes
- You will be responsible for shaping the role and assisting your manager to develop our staff skills and knowledge to maintain our core business and develop new business opportunities through training
- Administer needs assessments, identify skills gaps and address these through tailored programmes, working with managers
- Liaise with operational managers to ensure training of operatives is compliant
- Liaise with HR & managers to clarify job description against training is compatible and relates to staff expectation
- Assist on the on-boarding of new staff review training and further requirements
- Work within training budget and find cost savings on courses
- Assist in developing the business training plan (BU and personnel)
- Log Toolbox talks in QMS and update matrix
**Training Co-ordinator - Experience & Abilities**:

- Experience within in similar role
- Relevant Industry Experience
- Relevant Industry safety certification
- Knowledge/background in electrical safety
- An understanding of various industry standards, authorisations, and competency requirements e.g. NICEIC, WIRS, GIRS, NERS and electrical safety rules would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of computer/Microsoft packages including excel, word etc.
