We are looking for a Logistics planner based in our Marston Gate (MK43 0YL )site. The position holder will be responsible for the effective planning of all European loads, this must be achieved efficiently and in accordance with strict operating procedures ensuring optimum internal and external communication both with customer contacts and the network of approved hauliers.

Key responsibilities:
Planning:
- Assist with the Planning and Organisation for Pan-European Healthcare shipments
- Procurement of Pre-Plan information
- Evaluation of load configuration and cost comparison for proposed routing using approved haulier network
- Maximise all co-loading opportunities, escalate all missed opportunities after identifying the causes
- Organise customs formalities with the relevant brokers.
Process & Documentation
- Adhere to documented processes, be included in revision of processes. Support and recommend process changes as necessary
- Trip documentation - ensure that transit documentation required by the driver is made available at the earliest opportunity. Inclusive of packing lists and where applicable CMR / EX1. Report and track all open T-Forms
Communication
- Provide clear and timely communication of proposed routing plans via Traffic Sheet/Trackers - notifying sites of the proposed plan to agreed deadline
- Communicate professionally and efficiently both internally and externally
- Report / escalate poor haulier / customer adherence as necessary
Cost and System
- System Accuracy Carlo TMS - ensuring system data is up to date and accurate within the agreed timelines in readiness for confirmation / payment / invoicing
- Cost awareness and impact, accountable for meeting KPI targets (both individual and Operational), have an understanding of KPI’s, challenge all low volume shipments.
