Care Supervisor

McCarthy Stone are looking for a professional **Care Supervisor **to join their team at **our Glenhills Court estate in Glen Parva, Leicestershire.**

**This is not traditional care, this is better**

**Development information**: Glenhills Court is located beside the Grand Union Canal in Glen Parva, just half a mile from the vibrant village of Blaby and four miles from Leicester city centre. The complex includes one and two bedroom properties, which are spacious, stylish, and is one of our Retirement Living PLUS estates. Glenhills Court features a selection of social areas, including the homeowners lounge and canal side gardens. The excellent on site restaurant serves meals every day of the year, complete with table service.

**Base Salary: £12.56 **per hour day rate and **£10.42** **sleeping **night rate per hour **plus** additional pay (see below)

**Hours: 33.5 hours per week **(includes day and night shifts) (DM hrs 5.25 NDM hrs 11.5)

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Care Supervisors **sleep** between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

**About you**:

- You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
- Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
- Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
- Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
- Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
