**The Hill Primary Academy **has an exciting opportunity for a **SEND Support Assistant** to join their team to help students to overcome barriers to learning so that they can achieve thier full potential.
- Working with individual pupils, identifying the current barriers to learning, adjusting learning activities and monitoring progress towards set targets.
- Providing bespoke provision for those with challenging behaviour.
- Establishing a positive, professional relationship with pupils, colleagues and families.
**We are looking for individuals who have**:
- Recent and relevant experience working in a primary setting, and of working with children with challenging behaviour.
- The ability to utilise strategies to support pupils in achieving learning goals.
- The drive to learn and develop to adapt and improve how things are done.
- A commitment to safeguarding and equal opportunities.
- Relevant qualifications and training for this SEN focused role.
