The Mechanical Design Engineer job role itself where you will be involved in all aspects of the design process and work with our in-house tools to create a bespoke storage solution for our customers. Working closely with the sales department to understandthe customer’s brief and their ultimate aims for their new structure.More specifically:

- Evaluate technical solutions to meet customer requirements
- Produce high-quality drawings and layouts using CAD packages
- Produce accurate bill of materials for system entry
- Increasing sales through prompt design costings
- Provide technical assistance to all internal and external stakeholders

Hybrid working from home/office and potentially 100% remote working is open for discussion.

**You will have**

To be successful as Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated
- Drawing software (AutoCAD packages).
- Competent IT user including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Minimum GCSE A-C or 9-4 in English, Science and Maths.
- HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
