**Summary**:
This is a progressive, ambitious and well-structured business which develops, manufactures, sells and maintains a highly specialised automotive product.

They are continuing to grow off the back of their successes and are now looking to recruit an Applications Engineer to work within their Engineering division and to work closely with customers to understand their specific technical requirements and to ensurethat the manufactured product meets their specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide internal and external customers with design drawings, which may include the obtaining of costings.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant standards and regulations relating to the products manufactured.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, including component manufacturers.
- Applications engineering admission to include the processing of design change requests.

Key Skills/Experience:

- Engineering qualification and a working knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCad are essential.
- Self-motivated with a strong customer service ethos.
- Good organisational skills, time management and administration skills are vital.
- A proficient knowledge and working understanding of Auto-electrics and hydraulics would be advantageous.
- Ability to solve problems and follow projects through to conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
