Join our team as a support worker where you will support adults to continue living the life they prefer to lead within their own home environment.

**About the role**:
We are looking for a Support Worker who has a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life and have a consistent approach to support people.

This is a small service which has 4 self-contained flats. You will be supporting adults with Autism, learning disabilities and epilepsy. Some of the people here are fairly independent while others require more assistant. The people you will be supporting at this service enjoy a wide array of interests and hobbies, so if you're into sports, video games, cars, motorbikes, going for days out, technology and gadgets and trips to the cinema you will fit right in.

The role can involve assisting the people we support with some personal care, meal preparations, medication, maintaining the home environment and supporting them to appointments.

For this role you may be faced with some challenging behaviours; therefore, you will need to be calm, patient, resilient and understanding.

We will train you to provide personalised support and follow individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each person. The focus is developing independent living skills: personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, socialising - the daily routine of regular life.

This service is location in Wallington, Sutton. It has free off street parking and is close all public transport.**
**About you**:
Your professional and flexible nature will allow you to positively impact on those who you support and the rest of the team around you, allowing you to flourish and develop in this diverse and rewarding role. Experience working within a supported living setting would be desired. A full UK driving licence is also required. You must be confident using a laptop as part of the job will involve writing up daily records and health and safety checks.
