We are now looking for bright and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team, this person will be responsible for processing supplier payments and all accounts administrative duties. They will play a pivotal role in the team and bring an energetic eye for detail.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer telephone and deal with accounts queries
- Set up new suppliers and Sub Contractors on the system, liaising with QS on CIS statuses.
- Process Supplier invoice. Feeding back any issues to buyers
- Processing Supplier delivery notes for K&C and Pure
- Produce supplier payments for MD’s approval
- Stamp in, scan & pass subbie invoices to QS’
- Processing PACs (Subcontractor payments) (BACS & Cheques)
- Review and ensure subbie insurance details are updated
- Enter plant transfers into the Eque2 Construction software
- Produce a schedule of rebates for both companies. Producing invoices and chasing the money
- Making sure that the companies are on top of their council taxes. Cancelling them when properties are sold
- Analyse utility bills and take care of any renewals
- Input all timesheets
- Process Group invoices
- Process K&C Property North Wales supplier invoices
- K&C Property North Wales Bank recs and update rent cards
- Insert Monthly Rent due
- Daily Bank Recs for SPVs.
- Adhere to Accounts Task Timetable
- Sage Line 50 daily back ups
- Log in incoming post
**SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Excel, Word, Sage Line 50 and Sage Construct.
- Must have the ability to work accurately under pressure, often multi-tasking, to meet strict deadlines
- Must be confidential due to the work the job holder is involved with and the information they have access to
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be a team player
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring work is self-checked for its accuracy
- Ideally looking for someone with a minimum 2 years accounts experience.
