**The Role**

Reporting into the CRO, heading up direct sales, you will work very closely with the Customer Success, Industry Solutions (pre-sales), Marketing and Product teams for a joined-up, collaborative approach to driving revenue.

You will be responsible for leading the direct sales go-to-market execution and continually strengthening the sales organization to match the rapid evolution of the company. This position will have a significant impact on the success of the company, directly impacting our ARR and will have extensive interaction with the wider leadership team, providing input into key strategic decisions.

**Key responsibilities**
- Define and execute the global direct sales strategy, establish strategic and tactical plans required to identify, qualify and win new sales opportunities
- Motivate the sales team to achieve goals and develop resonant incentive plans
- Deliver sales reports; stay extremely close to the revenue numbers
- Manage reps, deals and pipeline to deliver clinical accuracy / forecasting
- Understand the dynamics and evolve the playbook of prospecting, inside sales and enterprise sales teams
- Communicate and foster relationships with clients
- Take charge of recruiting and developing sales staff
- Be the point person for escalations and complex closes

**What you’ve got to offer**
- Significant SaaS, BI, or data industry experience is essential
- Outbound / distribution sales expertise (as opposed to order-taking operations)
- Have run $10m to $50m ARR growth journeys and teams before
- Prior experience in scale-up environments
- Previous experience in working directly with Founders, CEOs and C-Suite executives
- Able to work at pace, take new feedback and integrate, update or advise on execution and strategy
- An ability to take ownership and get things done - both actioning yourself and delegating to your team
- Proactive problem-solving skills that lead to innovative thinking and resolutions
- Extensive experience and success selling enterprise solutions
