**This role could be homebased or based in the UK in the London office (with the opportunity to work from home on some days each week in line with Christian Aid’s hybrid working approach). The salary quoted is for homeworking but if based in our London office, the salary will be £25,168 per annum based on the full time equivalent of £41,946 per annum.**

**About the role**

The Campaigns and Activism Officer role helps deliver impactful campaigns. They engage our core audiences in a host of activities and actions (online and in person) that achieve strategic policy, legislative and culture change. They empower and equip supporters to make change happen and help build a movement capable of winning big.

At the heart of the role is the ability to mobilise people to take action and build power.

**About you**

As a campaigns officer you will need a range of skills and experience, including (not limited to) the following:

- A commitment to people-powered change
- Proven project management skills
- Experience of campaigning (preferably in a community or church-based context
- The ability to communicate complex messages creatively and effectively to diverse audiences through a range of different media
- The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- The ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Skills and experience in copy-writing and event management
- Digital-savviness
