**Job Title: Waking Night Care Worker**

**Salary: Up to £22,256.00 per annum (£10.52 - £10.70 per hour) plus welcome bonus of £200 - £300 and *another £200 - £300 once you pass your probation (minimum six months)**

**Hours: 40 hours per week - 5 nights on, 5 nights off**

**Contract: Full Time; Permanent**

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Children Care Workers to join our teams within the Wrexham area. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) andComplex Needs.

Arrow House is a registered 3 bed residential provision for boys and girls aged between 8- 16 years on admission. We care for children and young people requiring additional support with their mental health needs, following an inpatient stay within a Tier4 mental health provision. We require a Care Practitioner to join our team at Arrow House and we are looking for a hard-working and dedicated person, who has a passion for providing high-end care and support to children and young people.?

The home is **based in Wrexham**, and is within commuting distance from across North Wales, Chester and the North East.

Full support and on-training is provided.?

**Contracts available - Full Time Nights**

**Who we are looking for**:

- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare preferred but not essential
- Previous Residential Care experience
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a **funded qualification in Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner(ifyou do not currently hold this or equivalent)**
