Our client is looking for a Health and social care specialist support worker to join their highly accredited team working 2 to 1 care and support at all times.

They are looking for a fun, determined, specialist person to work with a 26 year old female who has severe learning difficulties and health needs to support during the day and some nights occasionally on request, in an individual's private home as part of a fabulous close team working two to one at all times. The individual likes to smile and laugh with her support workers and has enjoyment of her day as a high priority.

You will be assisting in all areas of health and social care support work including personal care and giving medication when required. Using behavioural and communication strategies as part of a fully supported team.
They are looking for someone who has a happy disposition, is hardworking and has a positive outlook on life and is presentable.

A knowledge of communication TOBI, positive behavioural support and sensory intervention would be beneficial but full training and support will be given.

You will be working in a beautiful environment as part of a 2 to 1 support at all times. You will always be supported in your employment. Your personal development is important. All training is supported and fully paid for. Must be able to cook and good organisational skills. Be a good communicator. Have a good sense of fun. enjoy trips out in the day up to the coast and outside walks.

Level 2 in adult social care or equivalent preferred or will receive training to fulfil personal development and goals.

Days 7am / 21:00 hrs 2 or 3 days per week
some sleeping or waking Nights per month offered 21:00 to 07:00 hrs

£11.20 per hour week days and nights
£12.50 per hour at weekend
£20.00 per hour bank holiday
28 days holiday per year
