Our Administration Officers play a critical role, providing excellent administrative support to Court users, judiciary and management.

**Your role**

Our administrative teams are the core of our National Services delivering great customer service to enable Justice.

At Social Security and Child Support (SSCS) we are responsible for a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the tribunal system. You will liaise with Judiciary and venue clerks as well as answer phone calls from our contact centre or other offices. This role is specifically focused on Infected Blood Compensation Appeals.

**Your skills and experience**

With a friendly and approachable manner, you’ll have good written and verbal communication skills with a desire to deliver proactive and effective support to customers. You’ll have great attention to detail, able to enter information into our database accurately and efficiently, and able and adapt to using various software packages. You’ll enjoy organising your time, prioritising efficiently and multi-tasking in a busy environment.

Although not essential, experience of managing telephone calls of a sensitive nature is desirable.

**Further details**:
These operational roles are customer facing, requiring successful applicants to be office based to provide HMCTS services to the public. Non-contractual hybrid working may be available and will be determined by the business only when it has been established that delivering the service from home can be done effectively._ _We cannot facilitate requests for a particular work from home/working in the office schedule.

**Occasional travel to other courts**

For this post, occasional travel to other National Services sites may be required for cover when needed

**Working Arrangements & Further Information**

For current MoJ employees, your base location will need to be changed to the nearest viable office (to your home postcode), either at a HQ building, JCC or JSO within the National Office Network and moved its location’s respective pay scale (any legacy arrangements/locations will need to be amended).

**Annual Leave**

Annual leave is 25 days on appointment and will increase to 30 days after five years’ service.
