Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are delighted to offer a position as Facilities Assistant to join our fantastic Hotel Services team at John Eastwood Hospice.

As part of a wider team you will work across catering, housekeeping and our Portering and Steward role giving you various opportunities day to day and the chance to develop new skills.

This is likely to be a really competitive advert so interested applicants are strongly encouraged to come and visit and talk to our Site and Support Manager Sam Arrowsmith.

This is a flexible part time role available for 12.5hrs over a five day week. Expected shift pattern will be 08:00-10:30

Due to the flexible nature of the service there are additional hours available from time to time depending on service demand.

This is a physically demanding role so the successful applicant should have reasonable fitness with which to carry out the main duties of the role. This includes bending, stooping and lifting for short periods of time and working in kitchen environments.

The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.

Please be aware this is a hospice environment where care is delivered to patients and those important to them as they approach end of life. This can therefore be an emotive environment where a professional attitude is important.
