With a dedicated team of approximately 20 full‑time employees, our facility plays an important role in supporting Fresenius Medical Care’s global mission to improve the lives of patients with kidney disease. By combining advanced manufacturing practices with strict quality standards, we help ensure safe and effective dialysis treatments worldwide. Join our passionate team and be part of this global impact Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team on a fixed‑term basis until August 2026. This full‑time, on‑site role is based at our Head Office in Huthwaite – Nottinghamshire and supports the QA and QC functions to maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Medical Device Regulations, and ISO standards. You will assist with documentation, data management, sample coordination, and laboratory support tasks that ensure consistent product quality and effective operation of QA/QC systems. Your Responsibilities Maintain and manage quality documentation, records, and controlled documents in compliance with ISO standards and company procedures. Support batch documentation preparation and archiving for product release. Ensure laboratory logs, calibration records, and stock control are audit‑ready. Assist with tracking and closing non‑conformances, deviations, and CAPAs. Enter and update data in quality systems and compile QA/QC metrics for review. Provide administrative support for audits and quality‑related activities. Maintain training records and assist with sample coordination and reporting. Participate in risk assessments and process improvement initiatives. Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Data Protection requirements. Perform other duties as directed by the QA Manager or QA/QC Systems Coordinator. Your Profile Ideally have experience in Quality Assurance, with exposure to manufacturing or laboratory environments. Basic understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP principles. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping. Organised and able to manage multiple tasks under supervision. Reliable, conscientious, and good communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with quality management or document control systems advantageous. Understanding laboratories or production processes is a plus. Willingness to learn and develop within QA/QC. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
