Local authority require a housing property surveyor for an initial period of three - six months.

Purpose of the role: Desktop review of damp and mould surveys to agree or disagree with remedial works identified, followed by site visits to individual properties to agree or disagree with any remedial works where the desktop review was not sufficient.

Each review to be logged on the remedial action tracker, with jobs raised against a schedule of rates and agree by manager, property by property.

Proactively/reactively inspect properties to inspect for Damp and mould based on property architypes or reported issues.
- Strong building construction knowledge
- Experience in social housing
- Can carry out desktop and site based inspections to identify and diagnose damp and mould defects
- Specify remediation and repairs actions
- Have access to a vehicle as there will be site visits daily

37 hours per week

Remote, Office and site based

Initially 3-6 months

£25.00 - £35.00 per hour depending on experience
