**The role**
We are thrilled to be supporting this forward thinking and well-known business within Tyne and Wear who are looking for a Marketing Technology Manager. You will have a passion for and understand the value that data and analytics can bring. You will maintainand govern the global marketing automation system for our UK and International regions as well as owning the marketing tech stack to ensure digital marketing execution, accurate lead delivery action and tracking and reporting.
You will be the crucial lynchpin between their marketing and technology teams.
**What you will be doing**:

- Strong understanding of marketing automation and Martech - the data pipeline journey.
- Assume responsibility for the management of the marketing technology stack across all platforms.
- Transforming the analytics requirements and in representing the marketing team’s requirements of web analytics, proactively monitoring performance KPIs and drive channel and funnel optimisation at both an aggregated and marketing channel level.
- Using Custom Floodlight Variables alongside the Data Layer to enrich reporting
- Drive mandate for tracking and tagging requirements between agencies, 3rd parties and internal departments.
- Work closely with the teams to better understand campaign level performance and its effect on the overall contribution of revenue to the company.
- Proactively manage and maintain Database management for the whole of the marketing utilising best practices to ensure a clean and accurate database.
- Ensure efficient and successful management, closure, and reporting of marketing.
**What you'll need to demonstrate**:

- Expertise in digital analytics with knowledge of Google Analytics
- Knowledge and experience working with marketing platform data such as Facebook, Google Ads, SA 360, Appsflyer etc.
- Experience developing and implementing new processes and technologies, while driving adoption and compliance.
- Comfortable using raw data and creating actionable insight
- Experience of a data visualisation or BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI are preferred.
- Experience on tracking implementation
