The Galaxie is a small family-run boutique hotel in Summertown, Oxford. One of our long-standing Housekeepers has recently left and we are looking to replace her with someone experienced, friendly, hard-working and ideally looking for long-term employment. We offer a competitive rate of pay as well as a free on-site gym, free parking and pre-shift breakfast.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain assigned areas in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the General Manager
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Communicate with the rest of the Housekeeping Team to ensure all rooms are ready for check-in at 3pm

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

You will be working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
