**Job Description**:
I have an exciting role for a forward-thinking individual looking for a progressive role in construction procurement.
Joining a reputable company who pride themselves on their company values and have been recognised for a number of awards over the years. Specialising in Construction, Education, Health care and Residential projects.
Working with the company buyer, this is an opportunity for an organised individual to learn all aspects of a procurement role within a construction business. You will grow and develop into the role of Assistant Buyer in the future and support the senior buyer with day to day duties. Thorough training will be provided, along with shadowing to learn the ropes and attending site meetings.
Day to day duties which you will be assisted with initially (list not exhausted):

- Placing purchase orders for both material and plant hire- Accurate cost reporting- Issuing enquiries- Review quotes via excel- Inputting and updating distribution reports- Liaising with most departments in the businessThis is an entry level role, ideal for someone who has a passion for the construction industry and looking to take their first step. You will need to be an organised individual who is keen to learn and possess strong IT skills.
