Operation of all Amenity machinery and plant equipment as required.
- Daily supervision of Amenity team under direction of Agricultural Services Mgr.
- Operation and Supervision of: Fertiliser, spreading, spraying, Verti
- draining, Shockwave Sports Field / Land drainage works, land leveling cultivation and reseeding grassland/hedge cutting/maintenance, strimming, overseeding, operating JCB Tele-handlers/360 excavators. Dumpers. Repair and maintenance to machinery.
- Assign, coordinate and supervise daily work activities for the Amenity Team assuming responsibility for completion.
- Ensure workloads are completed efficiently (within agreed timescales and standards).
- Coordinate and control the internal logistics of the amenity operations (i.e., overseeing of site operations).
- Work with other departments to ensure high standards and Intra-company cooperation.
- To collaborate in the ongoing development of staff.
- Review working practices to identify inefficient or unsafe work procedures or problems and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Assist with the adjustment or repair of equipment or machinery.
- Assist and support with accidents, incidents, and damage reporting.
- On site Health & safety monitoring, compliance with legislation and assisting with site operations.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as directed by management.

**Person Specification**:

- Qualifications/requirements: Machinery as above, qualification to NPORS Standard with knowledge of relevant agricultural health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to use and embrace GPS Steering and mapping technology.
- Self-motivated as well as a good motivator.
- Possesses can do attitude. Be flexible and adaptable including to seasonal variations to hours worked. Willing to work long unsociable hours at busy periods during the year as and when required.
- A good mechanical aptitude and able to carry out relevant repairs
- Physically able to perform manual work.
- Confident, positive and effective people management skills. Working effectively in teams and be able to work co-operatively. Be open to learning opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within team/management, and with customers, contractors etc.
- Be open to and encourage change and development.
- Be proactive and constructive in problem solving and conflict management.
- Demonstrate understanding and works to exceed customer expectations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £16.00-£16.50 per hour
