If you’re working in a Financial Services business or a related industry, even better - but its not essential as you’ll be given all the training you need to make this position a success.
Based in the Macclesfield area, the company is part of wider group offering a range of Financial products and this role will sit within the remit of dealing with already satisfied customers, so you won’t be taking complaints all day.
This is an outbound job and you’ll be speaking to people who are already engaged with the organisation, having used 1 or more services previously and your responsibility will be to carry out a review of their experiences and discuss what other related areas on offer could be of use to them. All the services available are linked under the banner or Mortgages / Protection / Wealth etc.
There won’t be any blind / cold calling - this is all based on current customers or people who wish to discuss what the company can offer.
As it’s all outbound - you’ll need to be a proactive member of the team, making the most of every opportunity to add value to the customer and generate revenue for the business - and you’ll be well rewarded in multiple ways for doing so.
It goes without saying you’ll be an excellent communicator on the phone and be able to deliver excellent customer service - but also be confident when dealing with internal colleagues and stakeholders - you’ll be an integral part of the team - not a stand alone department.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Be the first point of contact for prospective clients, whether they come from Introducers, general recommendations or web search
- Allocate the prospect to an adviser, book an appointment time that suits both and log the lead onto the internal system.
- Contact clients whose mortgage is due for renewal and book appointments with advisers
- Enhance google reviews for clients that have transacted business across the group
- Conduct after sales calls to generate missed opportunities with pensions, protection, wills
- Develop and implement a plan to increase the number of referrals obtained from existing clients
- Build and maintain a relationship with existing and new Introducers to maximise leads
- Use social media to maximise exposure in the community
- Design and provide reports to the management team on prospects and retentions and what has been achieved
This is an office based role, working mainly standard office hours with some flexibility required to ensure the maximum output of reaching customers.
To be considered for the position, you will ideally:
- Have experience of outbound customer service / after care / retentions (FS industry preferred)
- Be adept at using an internal CRM system to log all relevant data with a high accuracy
- Have excellent organisation skills to coordinate between customers and internal teams
- Be outgoing and confident on the phone with a sales focused approach
- Know how to research products and offerings in relation to customer needs
