Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged on the position of Trainee Management Accountant for a thriving business based in Midlothian. This full-Time, permanent vacancy is offering a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum + FULL study support.

**On Offer**

The role of Trainee Management Accountant will offer a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum with additional benefits including FULL study support. The office is in Midlothian and has parking available on site; as well as being easily accessible via public transport.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

- Reporting into the Management Accountant on all duties
- Producing management accounts and board packs
- General ledger postings and balance sheet reconciliations
- Month end close including accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of VAT Return
- Assist with year-end and audit
- Assist with projects as and when required
- Other ad hoc finance related duties

To be considered for this role you must:

- Minimum degree qualified in Accountancy (2:1)
- 6 months practical finance experience (not mandatory)
- Have strong MS Excel skills and an ability to cope with large data
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
