Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking to appoint three consultants, two posts will be a replacement post and the third will be a new post as part of the planned consultant expansion and services. They will be responsible to develop the Diabetes and Endocrinology service and will be based at the Tunbridge Wells site or Maidstone hospital but at times expected to work cross site if required for the services point of view. The successful applicants will join six existing consultants within the department and involved with delivering high quality care to the patients.

Any sub speciality interest would be considered including the antenatal, young adults and others with mutual discussions. Recruited consultants will undertake out-patient clinics in both complex diabetes and endocrinology and will contribute to the general medical rota. They will also be supported by a large team of diabetes specialists' nurses and 3 endocrine nurse specialists.
