**Job Purpose**

We are currently seeking a permanent (full time or part time) delivery driver / machinery installer, covering our Smithaleigh (South Devon) & Wellington (Somerset) branches, to deliver and install a wide range of groundcare, agricultural and construction machinery as well as moving stock between branches and collecting and delivering machines for service or repair.

During quieter times of the year trailer servicing and/or yard maintenance may be required.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**

As a Delivery Driver / Installer, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

- Delivery and install machinery to customers to the required standards in a timely manner.
- Transport machinery between branches safely and efficiently with all the appropriate documents
- Ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner with details as requested.
- Ensure the delivery vehicles are always maintained and clean.

**Secondary Responsibilities**

These responsibilities are essential in a small business where all members of the team are required to work flexibly and help in all and any area during busy periods
- Keep confidential and company business or statistics.
- To provide high levels of customer service
- To represent Vincent Tractors & Plant and promote its brand throughout all activities.
- Ability to work hours as required by the business.

**Person Specification**

**Relevant Experience**
- Driving
- Operating agricultural, construction and/or groundcare machinery
- Towing trailers
- Knowledge of land based machinery
- Engineering experience

**Education/ Training**
- Four GSCE or equivalent, Maths and English grade C or above
- A current driver’s licence with the ability to tow
- HGV licence

**Qualities, knowledge & skills**

**Additional factors**
- Willing to work additional hours as required.
- Willing to work indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions

**Vincent Tractors & Plant** **can offer you**:

- Full time or Part time position: 8.00am
- 5.30pm. Monday - Friday. (5.00pm Wintertime).
- Saturday: 8.00am to 12.00pm and call outs on a rota basis
- Competitive pay depending on experience plus overtime pay over 39hrs.
