An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated consultants to join our respiratory team working as an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. Your main site will be Oldham Care organisation but there will also be opportunity to work and develop personal interests in specific areas across any of the many respiratory sub-specialties within the Northern Care Alliance and into the Oldham Locality.
Our team comprises consultants, junior doctors, nurses and the full complement of allied health professionals including our award winning integrated Pennine lung service whose purpose is to ensure that respiratory people in a 'crisis situation' receive expert, responsive, and safe care in a place closest to home, that best meets their needs.
With a sound knowledge of respiratory, as well as an interest in general medicine or the motivation to learn and professionally develop these areas while working in a supportive environment, the successful applicant will provide a high standard of clinical care whilst supporting new ways of delivering quality services, including in reach, Hospital and care at home and rapid OPD clinics.The post holder is therefore required to have full registration with the General Medical Council & a valid licence to practice and be on the specialist register for Respiratory Medicine (CESR)
