Star Care Lodge, a residential care service in Medway for people enduring mental illness.
We are looking for **Senior Support Worker**who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for people with mental health conditions and are able to encourage and nurture a positive workplace culture based on respect anddignity either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.

As a Senior support worker, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans, risk assessment and care reviews that are designed to provide meaningful choice and to support our residents so they can access services to help them lead thelife they want. We are looking for people who will instil a culture of continuous improvement, through dialogue with our residents.

You will also be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills. You will be leading the shift, administrating medication, supporting service users with personal care, as well as supporting them to take part in a wide range of activities,including arts and crafts, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions, supervising residents to ensure their safety and well-being, reporting and recording any changes in their behaviour.
