**Care and Support Lead** **Location**: London, TW2 5QS **Salary**:from £39K per annum, pro rata **Contract**: Part time, up to 22.5 hours per week **Integrated Neurological Services are now recruiting.** We are now recruiting for a Care and Support Lead To maintain and develop close working relationships within INS interdisciplinary team. local partner organisation and stakeholders. We are now recruiting for a Care and Support Lead to work as a senior member of our integrated neuro-rehabilitation multi-disciplinary team by delivering carers support service and holistic assessments for adults with neurological conditions. This role will also include assessment, advice to clients and carers and delivery of individual and group sessions face to face and on-line. **In addition to this, as our Care and Support Lead, you will be responsible for**: - Responsible and accountable for all aspects of your professional activities. - Review and allocation of new referrals. - Holistic assessments for adults with neurological conditions. - The maintenance of accurate written and electronic records. - Planning your case load and day in an efficient way - To act as INS, lead for carers service working with carers, INS team and local stakeholders to develop service. - Recruiting volunteers to deliver ongoing and sustainable support for carers. - Development of the carers service at INS to ensure that it meets the needs of carers and delivers activity agreed within Richmond Carers’ Hub. - Working with the CEO, team members and Trustees to develop future strategic and operational plans. - Participate in audit, appropriate work-related research and evaluation. - Participate and lead relevant teaching sessions to external professional, voluntary and user group. - Supervision of students and support staff as required. **Previous Skills, Experience and Qualification required**: - Recognised degree in social work, nursing or occupational therapy and a member of a relevant body. - Registered member of Health and Care Professions Council/NMC/Social Work England - Postgraduate experience of working with a range of neurological conditions in adults - Ability to assess people with neuro-impairments - Ability to work face to face, online and by telephone - Training and presentation experience - Supervision of support staff/volunteers - Understanding of the principles of clinical governance/audit - Working knowledge of safeguarding issues/policy - Good understanding of infection control procedures - Good understanding of personal health and safety responsibilities - Good understanding of clinical supervision - Knowledge of relevant networks/links - Excellent interpersonal skills - including observation, listening and empathy skills - Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal - Negotiation and problem-solving skills - Competent in use of IT **If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on "APPLY" today, forwarding an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.** No agencies please.
