Senior Business Development Manager - IT MSP
Permanent - £55,000 - £60,000 DOE + Uncapped OTE + £450 car allowance per month & Benefits
Hybrid - 1 day per week in Luton
Seeking a highly skilled, ambitious and driven B2B New Business Development Manager to enable their ambitious growth plans. This role will suit a sales hunter profile.

To be successful in this role you will need
- Passion for selling high value Technology solutions and services to C level executives.
- Ambitious sales manager with a Go-getter attitude
- Excited about acquiring new customer logos, sales revenue generation activity.
- Confident and resilient with excellent business networking and business contact book.
- Quick learner, skilled negotiator with commercial acumen and experience of manging complex customer requirements and customer expectation management.
- Experience of writing detailed technical proposals and tender bids.
- A self-motivated, methodical, diligent, self-starter with a results-oriented attitude; and ability to work independently without any supervision.
- A team player having experience of working with service delivery teams in different geographies around the world.
- Experience of running exhibition, event, webinars, and conferences for promotional activity.
Key Requisites from your experience
- Proven track record of selling software and data engineering solutions and services to C level executives
- In-depth knowledge and experience of sales process, lead generation, relationship building, closing deals.
- Proven track record of selling six figure solutions for driving new business sales in the software and data engineering space.
- Proven track record of new customer acquisition and revenue generation success in B2B sales.
- Proven experience of tender bidding including writing, pitching/presenting, and working with internal teams to win tender opportunities.
- The role demands a sales manager with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate team members to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Responsibilities include
- Acquire new customers, generate sales and achieve sales targets
- Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing sales performance data, and projecting future performance.
- Research and identify new market opportunities for company solutions and expand
brand reach.
- Generate, nurture and close new customer opportunities.
- Plan and implement results driven lead generation and sales growth strategy.
- Deliver sales revenue, profit, market and brand expansion targets and manage month end, quarter end and year end closing process.
- Expand business within UK, Europe and US.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, tender bids and manage bid process.
- Effectively manage the new customer transition to solutions delivery / account management teams.
- Follow up all sales enquiries and customer queries in a timely way as per company policy.
- Manage all sales activities using the company CRM and provide regular reporting as per company policy.
- Work with marketing to provide market and customer insights. Help with various marketing activities to ensure high impact for inbound sales activity.
- Work with technical solutions to provide the best solutions for each new customer. Help with various account management and growth activities to ensure long term customer success.
- Work with accounts to ensure timely payment collection from customers. Help with various credit control and accounts activities in relation with customers.
- Continuously develop self-leadership, hiring, and training skills for new sales members with HR ensuring the sales team is consistently meeting sales and revenue targets.
- To be able to plan, manage and run exhibition stands and webinars.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration.
- Master's in Business Administration will be preferred.
- 7+ years in sales hunter role within the technology industry selling to C level.
- Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team working skills
- Superb leadership ability and very organised
- Ability to travel nationally or internationally
