**Warehouse Operative**

**Shift Work**

**06:00am - 14:00pm**

**14:00pm - 22:00pm**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Checking and unloading of incoming deliveries and store safely and securely within the Warehouse
- Selecting of product from picking lists for loading and despatch to customers.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles, operating fork lift truck.
- Carry out daily fork lift checks and battery top ups
- Process loose trim foam into baled product.
- Convert short blocks into sheets or peeled product.
- Required to adhere to the Company Health, Safety and Environment Policy at all times.
- Required to follow all Safe Systems of Work.

Required to identify and report any safety/environmental hazards to Departmental Manager/Supervisor.
- Adhere to the monthly 5S rota and maintain the overall tidiness of the Warehouse
- Ensure the Warehouse is “Tour & Audit ready” at any time
- Required to participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Carry out daily stock counts
- Ensure all picks are accurate by carrying out second checks
- Support the annual stock take

**Experience/Qualifications**
- **Education level & general experience**:A Good level of education, literate and numerical.
- **Technical knowledge/ expertise**:General Warehouse awareness and able to operate Lift Trucks.
- **Competencies**:Able to undertake instructions accurately, ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Able to understand instructions, computer literate

**Salary**: From £10.30 per hour
