**Parts Inventory Controller**: **North West England**: **Jungheinrich** is one of the top three leading companies in the material handling equipment and Intralogistics sectors worldwide - **and we are very interested in speaking with you further about your career.** **Role Purpose** - Within a specified geographical area, work proactively and collaboratively with our operational teams to ensure that each storage location. - has the appropriate amount of parts stock to cover direct demand from our customers. - maintains accurate, timely and effective stock management. - keeps the cost associated with holding parts stock to a minimum and challenges behaviour that does not support this. - Ensure specific equipment issued to our engineering workforce is safe to use, calibrated and/or tested accordingly to meet all current regulations. **Role Responsibilities** - Promote the health, safety and welfare of our people and champion a safety-first culture within our business - Work as a collaborative team member within the parts operation to contribute to the overall objectives of Customer Service. - Actively contribute in a positive manner to promoting and accepting change to ensure Jungheinrich UK Customer Service remains at the forefront of the intralogistics industry. - Ensure any matters requiring escalation are done so via the approved procedure. - Utilising all available information, manage your own time through forward planning, communication, and travel to be efficient in your role. - In close conjunction with the operational teams, proactively plan the required audit and location at the specified frequency and required duration, minimising the time the engineer is "off the road". - Utilise every touch point with the operational teams as an opportunity to educate our teams on the process of returning unused parts to minimise our loss. - Whether remotely, virtually or in person, proactively manage and control the value of stock within your specified area, paying particular attention to the stock turnover and value of aged stock. - Wherever possible, reduce the amount of time a part remains in a storage location unused and minimise the cost of returning these unused parts. - Maintain the relevant records as a result of the audit. - Maintain a parts replenishment programme within each storage location that fully supports our customer offering to provide the very best levels of comprehensive customer service support. - Monitor and clear outstanding service reports and return orders. - Inspect and test all required electrical equipment and specified tools and equipment for our engineers and sites to ensure they meet the required safety standard. - Any other associated tasks required within the central parts operation. **Role Requirements** - Previous experience of inventory management. - Ability to communicate with multi-level personnel. - Excellent teamwork skills with a proven collaborative approach to achieve clear objectives. - Excellent planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills. - Excel, Word and Outlook experience. - SAP experience. - Engineering background and or experience of working within a customer focused organisation. **Competencies Required** - Drive, determination, and initiative. - Flexibility. - Integrity. - Adaptability. - Attention to Detail. - Flexibility. - Resilience and Tenacity. - Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
