**The role**
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Transport Administrator to join our Immingham office supporting the delivery of shipments within the UK.

You will work closely with our customers and drivers ensuring that everything runs as it should, tracking trailers to ensure they are on time and that there are no onward knock on effects or delay whilst communicating any updates as required.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

- Sending delivery and collection notes to internal and external drivers
- Communicate effectively with our drivers, subcontractors and internal colleagues
- Responsibly and properly record all traffic administration on our bespoke software
- Track and trace trailer fleet for local and international movements
- Support our Transport Manager in quality assurance duties
- To undertake any other reasonable task as required

We are looking for someone who has already gained some experience of planning trucks and who ideally has knowledge of driving hours and legislation. However, we will teach you everything you need to know about transport planning and offer future progression opportunities to build your career in a fast growing business.

We offer a competitive starting salary starting from £21,000 - £25,000 dependant on experience.

We are open Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm. There is no standard weekend working as we believe quality of life is incredibly important. We have a really friendly, professional and collaborative environment built here at AGI, which is why our people love being in the office as much as they can.

**What you’ll be able to offer**
- Previous transport administration experience is essential
- Excellent geographic knowledge of the UK and Europe is essential
- Knowledge of driving hours and legalisation is desirable but is not essential
- Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
- High IT literacy skills including strong competency with Microsoft Office
- Outstanding customer service skills
- The ability to develop and build strong relationships over the phone
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
- Accountability to yourself and others
