**About the Nursery**:
We are looking for a passionate Out of School Club Educator who enjoys working in a fun, rewarding and supportive environment engaging with children. Situated in an Old Market Town, Ashby Kids Club at Ashby Hill Top Primary School is committed to providing a home from home environment. It has a motivated and passionate team providing the best possible childcare for children in the community.

**About you**:
The Out of School Club Educator will adhere to the Policies and Procedures of the Setting and Storal in compliance with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

You will help to encourage children’s development, independence, self-reliance, initiative and problem-solving skills by working in a way that promotes inclusivity of al; children by ensuring all have equal access to opportunities to learn, develop and reach their potential

**Main responsibilities**:

- Actively and willingly keeping the After School Club safe and organised
- Support with preparation, serving and tidying up
- Appropriately follow the Policies and Procedures of the Setting with Storal in compliance with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary)
- Builds and maintains an effective partnership with parents.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualified (Desirable)
- Minimum of 6 months experience of working with children from the age of 4-11
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work with a team and also take their own initiative
