At A Class Care we are an award-winning Care provider, and we exist to help family members seek support for a loved one in their own home. We have over 20 years’ experience of providing care and assistance to vulnerable adults and elderly clients.

We are looking to recruit experienced, caring, and passionate Live in Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. We pride ourselves on delivering first class care to our clients and offer in depth and bespoke training packages to our Live in Care Assistants.

A Class Care have a “Good” CQC rating, with an aim to achieve outstanding as soon as possible We need dedicated Live in Carers who want to enable our clients to live their very best lives. As a Live in Care Assistant at A Class Care, you will be providing person centred care and promoting independence for our clients.

Making sure we have the right Live in Care Assistants for our clients is extremely important to us and ensuring that our carers feel happy and comfortable with the different types of care that they will be providing.

We would have a discussion with you to discuss the experience you have, any area of specialities such as Dementia, End of Life, Mental Health etc to ensure we place you with the right client and it is a mutual match.

**Your day-to-day duties would include**:

- Supporting and assisting with all personal care needs
- Listening and providing companionship to our clients
- Observing and reporting any changes in the health of the clients
- Help with food and drink
- Responding to emergency situations
- Prompting and administering of medication
- Accompanying and transporting clients to appointments and/or social events
- Providing client support with hobbies and other activities
**So far so good? This is who we’re looking for**:

- Legal right to work in the UK
- A caring and compassionate individual
- Good understanding of Person Centred Care and MCA/Dols
- Minimum 1 year experience within care
- Good spoken and written English
- Car driver is preferred but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on update service is desirable
- Must be able to pass enhanced DBS
