Shift Patterns: 4 days on, 4 days off rotating days and nights averaging at 40 hours per week; 07.00 - 19.00 and 15.00 - 03.00.

Randox Laboratories are currently looking for highly motivated and dedicated individuals to work within a full-time permanent basis within our busy Accessioning Department. All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

The Role:

- Ensuring that correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Ensuring strict Chain of Custody of samples across all areas in the Accessioning Department including full traceability of samples.
- Perform strict sample acceptance / integrity checks on all samples as outlined in Departmental Procedures.
- Scanning of samples onto the Randox Clinical Portal.
- Adhere to sample storage management procedure.
- Perform maintenance of Accessioning equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Responsibility and management of hygiene practices, including appropriate cleaning of equipment and all analytical instruments and surfaces to limit contamination.
- To work and maintain a safe working environment, including participation in laboratory housekeeping duties including stock control, general up-keep, and routine laboratory safety audits.

Essential:

- Possess good verbal communication skills.
- High level of motivation.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to perform different processes during shifts.
- Must be flexible in working hours if required and be available to work days, nights, and weekends.

Desirable:

- Previous experience working in a sample reception laboratory.
