We have an exciting opportunity for a Public Relations Executive to join our team in Bristol. With more than 45 people across our three UK offices (London, Bristol, Reading), our sales and marketing team supports international communications, business development, client management, events and brand strategy.
Working closely with two PR managers, you'll be an important member of our growing and high-performing international public relations team, and we'll look to you for ideas and input from day one.
As you'd expect from a fast-paced environment, you'll need to be able to handle pressure, manage multiple demands and be comfortable working with people at all levels of the organisation. We're a collegiate get-stuck-in kind of team that likes to celebrate our wins, but equally, support each other when things get busy.

**What you'll do**
Reporting to two international PR managers, working on a regular basis with the internal communications, digital and social media, branding and marketing teams, you will be responsible for various activities, including:
- Building relationships with national, regional, legal and business sector press and identifying comment opportunities
- Developing and executing mini PR plans to support our three dimensional strategy focused on sectors, services and global transformational business issues including decarbonisation, digitalisation and changing urban dynamics
- Driving the quantity and quality of media coverage for UK PR team, you will closely with the broader team but take ownership of delivering results for project and campaign work
- Helping prepare, recommend and draft content ranging from press releases and comments on breaking news, through to features and award entries
- Acting as an ambassador of the firm, and of the public relations team, both internally and externally by supporting the partnership on media relations best practice
- Keeping a close eye on the needs of the business, potential client conflicts and protect client relationships
- Contributing to media evaluation, reporting, and ongoing media tracking
**What we're looking for**
You'll also need to:
- Have strong writing capabilities and attention to detail
- Regularly consume and have a love for media, which will help you to spot PR opportunities and build relationships with journalists
- Deliver accurate work in a timely manner and manage your own workload effectively
- Actively manage expectations and build confidence with all colleagues you work with and able to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Be able to build up a network of internal relationships to grow knowledge of the firm and its legal experts
- Show positive work ethic and commitment by being flexible and collegiate
- Provide insight, guidance and consult colleagues on best approach to public relations
