**About the Role** A key member of the Communications Team, this role supports the development and delivery of all PR activities, which build and maintain a positive reputation and drive awareness of the firm's core sectors in conjunction with the firm's strategic and businesspriorities.
This role will report into the Senior PR Manager, although working relationships will extend to the most senior members of the firm as well as with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.

Key objectives:

- Working with the Senior PR Manager to develop and manage creative PR campaigns for relevant sector groups, practice areas and business development initiatives
- Drafting and delivering engaging and informative content for awards submissions, media announcements, external briefing documents, articles, and reports
- Managing day to day media enquiries and building relationships on behalf of the firm with key media contacts across the national, business, legal and trade press, and sourcing opportunities for comment/profile in key target press
- Working with internal stakeholders and external PR support to drive opportunities for positive coverage in target publications, in line with the firm's business objectives
- Arranging and briefing partners and other internal stakeholders for media interviews and other profile raising opportunities
- Working with the Social Media Executive to develop impactful content for the firm's main social media channels, including LinkedIn and Twitter
- Supporting on the planning and tracking of external activities, whether it be awards, conferences, events, or media coverage to feed into the firm's overall external communication strategy
- Supporting the delivery of communications for key firm-wide strategic or operational initiatives as required
- Being an active member of the communications team, prepared to support other communications projects during busy periods

**About You**:

- Graduate or equivalent with strong communications skills, pragmatic and creative
- Experience within a professional or financial services environment, whether in house or agency side
- Excellent writer, able to produce, crisp, concise and engaging content with a thorough understanding of English grammar and current usage
- Fully IT literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills; able to process and interpret large amounts of detailed information and turn it into meaningful copy
