**Purchase Ledger Clerk**

**Immediate and long term up to a year for the right person**

Premier Education are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support in the finance department of a large Multi Academy Education Trust in the Oldham area. You would be based in the finance team at one of the school’s sites.

Purchase ledger responsibilities involve the practical duties of business bookkeeping. You would be responsible for the processing of purchase orders, invoices and expenses, assisting with cash management and bank reconciliation as part of the finance team. Accuracy and attention to detail are key for professionals in this role
- Have experience working as a Financial Assistant including undertaking routine tasks associate with payroll
- Provide accurate and timely financial administration
- Be confident processing invoices in accordance with agreed procedures and regulations
- Be able to raise general sale invoices and undertake debt recovery
- Be confident liaising with suppliers and customers
- Excellent communication skills including superb telephone manor
- The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Grade C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics and an Administration qualification or be working towards one
