**The opportunity;**
The Head of Talent & Organisation Development is a highly critical strategic role which will play a key part in Northern PowerGrid’s commitments to creating hundreds of new jobs within the organisation and the wider supply chain.
Leading the Talent & OD team, the Head of Talent & OD will develop and lead the Talent and OD strategy for NPG, ensuring talent is at the forefront of the future resourcing strategy.This critical appointmentwill also drive leadership development and supportthe creation of the organisation’s EVP as well as developing the early careers strategy.
This future talent strategy will support the overarching cultural change to a progressive and digitally focused energy organisation, creating new jobs for the future and enhancing careers.This will require a mindset shift within the organisation to a growthmindset to enhance career development across all levels.
This role will offer agile working with a preference for this role to be based in Castleford with occasional travel to Newcastle (2 x per month)
**What we are looking for;**
- Deep expertise within Talent Development, Organisational Design and Leadership Development, proven success of delivering strategic change in all areas and producing real results
- Experience of working within a senior leadership role and influencing Board level stakeholders
- Experience of leading cultural change within large and complex organisations
- Highly experienced and engaging leader with a proven track record of leading an experienced Talent & OD team
- Experience of developing high impact strategic initiatives including leadership development, managing external providers and ensuring ROI
- Experience of enhancing the EVP
- Experience of leading and Early Careers Strategy that has delivered measurable results
