The Opportunity

We are delighted to be partnering with this group of schools looking for a pivotal HR Advisor role. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role combines a wide range of responsibilities and a focus on future projects.

Duties include
- Delivering a first-class HR service, ER and caseload management, recruiting, engagement, liaising with a wide range of stakeholders from CEO to non-teaching staff, Trade Union representatives, etc and payroll.
- Work on organisational change, TUPE transfer, etc and naturally responsibilities around safeguarding.
- This part-time role is during term time plus three weeks (includes five inset days) and currently would involve being fully onsite.

The Person
- Have a CIPD L5 or equivalent, with strong HR generalist experience, including HR policies, employment law, and ER.
- Understand the Health and Safety Executive and have experience implementing HR policies related to disciplinary issues, recruitment, and monthly payrolls.
- Hold experience with wellbeing programmes, benefits, and multi-site operations is advantageous.
- Be highly organized, adaptable, and while a background in Education is beneficial, the right attitude is equally important.

The Trust currently employs c.350 colleagues across three primary schools and one secondary school, supporting education across Castleford.
