**Lead Performance Tester - Work From Home (WFH)**

IR35 Status**:Outside**

A Contract Lead Performance Tester is need for a 3-month Contract (outside IR35).

This role is for a Non-Functional tester who must come from a seasoned performance testing background.

Ideally you must have experience of working with high load/throughput generation tools and have used them in conjunction with cloud based performance tool(s).

Your experience will encompass Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).

The role will include the following areas:

- Focus on testing of the AWS hosted infrastructure to certify the resilience and operational readiness of the infrastructure against any given platform or software service
- Create, implement and manage runbooks for OAT execution
- Have responsibility for OAT across different technical projects within Social Security Scotland
- Create OAT test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data
- Adopt a standardised approach to test preparation and execution of all OAT testing across the organisation
- Work with all relevant stakeholders to log, prioritise, report, investigate and resolve outstanding defects related to OAT and the infrastructure across all Route to Live environments
- Produce OAT completion reports and communicate OAT progress
- Have an opportunity to leverage our test automation framework that comprises of leading tools and technologies such as Serenity BDD, Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, RestAssured and Jenkins. You will also collaborate with the wider Test Practice and to contributeto the ongoing process improvement of the framework.
- Perform analysis of NFRs to ensure they are clear and testable
- Ensure any issues or risks are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner and supporting other teams to get OAT issues resolved
- Support the Non-Functional Testing function within the Test Practice, including continuous process improvement
